Ok, feeling like I'm going nuts so this is my last resort. If anyone could please help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Problem

We are trying to create an Ad Set in our Facebook Campaign with 'App Installs' objective. Our app is currently live on both Android and iOS and Facebook is able to find it. However, when we try to add the App to the Ad Set, we receive this error:

Our set up

We have confirmed the following:

  • The App is connected to the same business account as the Ad Account
  • The Ad Account is a connected asset in the App
  • The Ad Account is linked as an authorized Ad Account for the App

Additionally, our Facebook SDK configuration is complete and is also live in the iOS and Android store.

We've followed and re-followed all of the instructions to get the app set up correctly and linked to the Ad Account.

At this point, we're just lost.

What steps could we be missing to remove this error? If there is any additional information needed, please let me know. Thank you!

  • Re-read your question - Looking at FB support too, I see almost no activity. I see quite a few FB posts in SO, so I assumed questions related are allowed

  • Facebook-related questions are ok here, but only if they're programming-related. Your question is specific about customer support and policies, and that's what is off-topic here. You'll need to open a support ticket (or follow whatever support procedures they provide).
