I need a override wp_maintenance() function from /wp-includes/load.php file. I have to add a condition in this function. I tried with add_filter() but unfortunately it didn't work. Could someone suggest how I can override this function?

  • it includes WP_CONTENT_DIR . '/maintenance.php' which you may use as a hook

  • @Deadooshka I tried but unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Immediately after require maintenance.php there is die() :) I want to do something like if (condition) {return; }
