Android, React PWA, address bar always visible

Question

He had to change the version of targetSdkVersion from 29 to 31 en build.gradle because Play Store was complaining about versions under 30.

Also, we had to update: com.google.androidbrowserhelper:androidbrowserhelper:1.1.0 to 2.3.0

And then we have to replace:

name="Theme.LauncherActivity" parent="Theme.AppCompat.NoActionBar"

with

name="Theme.LauncherActivity" parent="Theme.MaterialComponents.Light.NoActionBar"

That because I was getting an error with AppCompat.

Plus, in order to to keep using Theme.MaterialComponents.Light.NoActionBar I had to add:

implementation 'com.google.android.material:material:1.6.1'

But with those changes, I have a problem with the address bar in Android versions < 12, it's always visible:

I don't know what or why is happening, it was working for many time.
