I am trying to develop a PWA. My website passes all the Lighthouse tests for a PWA, and I get the Install icon in the browser bar in desktop Chrome in macOS. But I never get the "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App" in Android Chrome's menu. I have tried going to other PWA websites and don't get "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App" in Android Chrome for those either (https://app.starbucks.com, https://meta.discourse.org/ etc). So I guess either
a) The problem is with my Android Chrome settings (I have Chrome 109 running in Android 11 on moto e30 phone), or
b) Google has changed the requirements on Websites to show PWA options in Android Chrome
I think (a) is most likely. How can I reset Chrome in Android so PWA installations work again?
