1

I am debugging a .net mvc3 application. Then I opened a output window called : call stack ,than I saw many things....I googled and 'msdned' ,and got no answer. Can someong please tell me what do the following methods do ? Thank you so much! you don't need to tell me every methods listed ,but some of the 'important' ones you think.

ps: my background knowledge: I read the book "CLR via C#" once ,not fully understand it yet .I know a little about memory manage ,GC,APP domain etc.Just the basic ,you know :)

  • I am seeing the same problem signature. But I am seeing it in the context of a simple .ashx page which is using System.Data.SqlClient to call out to an sql server.   • Further note: in my case, the problem was a simple (and incorrect) recursive call in my managed code. The above stack trace was "valid" -- just not useful in isolating the problem. -- I suspect that your problem is probably similar. When a stack overflow occurs, it may not be the case that the exception occurs in the appdomain which you control, that needs to be fixed.
