i use this handler for downloading my files without opening them directly in browser -> (using query string path)

how can i make my files resumeable ?

i don't have that option in internet download manager!

    How would the browser resume the download? What protocol would it use? You need to start with the protocol, then write the code from that. Oct 30, 2011 at 22:26

  • I think if somebody try to download file from chrome it would not work because ifRange header will not be available, i tried this in chrome.

    @AProgrammer DotNet Core 2 and up already supports this out of the box. You can choose from PhysicalFileResult, FileStreamResult or VirtualFileResult. For example add this in the controller: return new PhysicalFileResult("myfile.zip", MediaTypeNames.Application.Zip);.     I have upvoted because I think your code may contain an answer that may help others. However, your code has some serious problems, and I came very close to downvoting. Among other things, you do not show your your code is to be used; you have empty catch blocks, and you don't properly handle "IDisposable" objects like the FileStream and BinaryReader.
