  • Built and maintained several ETL data syncs such as: syncs between voter information, mail/messaging platforms, a social media firehose, and the data warehouse (Redshift).
  • Helped design a Serverless (AWS Lambda & Step Functions) API prototype for a grassroots donor wall in 24 hours. Re-designed in less than a week with more features and highly scalable.
  • Implemented and maintained parts of the campaign website like a search for contributions based on email and worked to make the site more accessible.
  • Designed a method of allowing people to RSVP from a peer to peer messaging service which synced to our events platform API.
  • Created a tool to help many teams on the campaign reorder call lists.
  • Helped devise a method of updating voters on changes to their polling place location using the voter file, Amazon SQS, and the Mobile Commons messaging API.

A terminal ascii camera using python curses and OpenCV. Side note: I wasn't aware of any video capture libraries for python so OpenCV is a bit overkill but it works great!
