I am a software engineer. I have worked for several companies in and around Toronto, and have experience with several programming languages, including C++, Python, JavaScript, Java, PHP, SQL, ElasticSearch.

I have developed several enterprise level applications, including a electronics device measurement software, an ad block detector, an alert portal, a statistics interface, and a web crawler to validate ads.txt files that are widely used by sites involved with web advertisements.

Some advice for new coders: getting started with programming is very difficult, reading someone else's code is painful, most programmers totally lack communication skills to construct a proper sentence, there is so much confusion, intimidation and frustration. However, the reward that you will get out of it eventually is really great!
