Hello, My names Ashell ("I went to the beach, and I found a shell") or if you want to keep it short, call me Ash. Grew up in Staten Island, NYC and moved to Germantown, MD to finish high school. Started college the following year, but felt the courses needed to take are not in my interest. Took a hiatus with programming to switch fields to medical, became the Senior Technician in Walgreen's Pharmacy after a year (usually takes more than 2 years, but working hard and being proactive, leadership saw my potential.) After 3 years of medical field, I am happy to say I.T is who I am. Even though I have never held a job in programming, I am drawn into it (Some days all I want to do is code..)

Been coding since 2008, learned C++/C#/LAMP and Java. Came into a group asking me to make "private" servers for some game source they came into contact with, successfully ran the serve while utilizing LAMP (MySQL and Apache communicated with the game servers and fed data into the website.) Utilized LogMeIn's Hamachi to connect users to the local game server.

2017 was my best year so far. After taking a 3-year break from coding, I have fully immersed myself into coding and went as far as reducing my current job hours by half.

Every push has my best work. I'm working toward a bigger goal, bigger than you or I. It's for the future.
