Hello there!

I'm Angel, an Information Engineer who most recently led a small, distributed engineering team across the Americas. Originally from Venezuela, I'm now based in Spain building state-of-the-art applications with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

I've been working as a Software Engineer for 5+ years focusing on all things backend in where I have had the opportunity to contribute to open-source projects, as well as getting first-hand experience within the e-government, e-commerce, due diligence, and EdTech industries —all under a "remote-first" approach. I've also worked with startups, and even though my career path looks more akin to a specialist, I'm definitely someone capable of "wearing many hats" should the need arise.

I'd love to get into the Fintech industry, or any music-related product (massive music nerd here), but I'm up for any role that allows me to bloom, and make an impact right off the bat — all while growing along with both the project and my teammates.
