Roberto holds a degree in Civil Engineering gained in 2008 and his final year dissertation project is related to hydraulic engineering and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). He continued his education by accomplishing a Ph.D. in Geosciences at the University of Lausanne. During his Ph.D. studies, he was also working at the Institute of Earth Sciences (SUPSI) of Lugano. Between January 2012 and may 2021, he has been CTO of Gter srl. He has also participated in numerous training GIS seminars organized by Gter and the University (USI, SUPSI, UNIGE). Since may 2021 he works for th IT of AMIU Genova SPA. He is acqually the manager of the company GIS
