  • Took a team of 8 individuals who’s moral was extremely low and perception of the company was as equally low and turned it completely around within 2 months.
  • Since the company did not have any documentation as well as little to no knowledge sharing, I had the team create a wiki, with a shared knowledge base of all the processes the team had to manage and monitor.
  • Went from an email based reporting ( html format in email ) to using the fresh desk ticketing system. This made tracking the NOC activities a breeze.
  • Had the NOC integrate our monitoring systems with the ticketing system. This allowed me to have better insight into the amount of alerts the team was getting and how long it took to rectify the issues at hand.
  • Begun to train the NOC in the Python scripting languages. So this can further their technical skills for the company as well as for there future endeavors.
  • Manage the team schedules.
